Teachers, Principal, Curriculum, and Exams are All Certified and Annually Reviewed to Ensure the Highest Level of Quality

As part of the certification process to be a BC Offshore School, the teachers and Principal in the BC Diploma Program must be fully certified with the same qualifications as required in the Province of British Columbia. A mature faculty comprised of certified teaching professionals and Principal  provides your students with consistent teaching and the best education standards in the world. This also means that you will need to use BC-certified government exams in Grades 10, 11, and 12, and ongoing on-the-ground inspections and accreditation by the Ministry of Education.

BC Offshore School Candidate and Certification Process

The BC Ministry of Education has developed a stringent multi-step process to establish and operate BC-certified Offshore Schools. You will need to apply for “Candidate” and then “Certification” Status, along with your designated Agent leading you through the rigorous accreditation and school formation process. Your school will have on-site inspections by the BC Ministry of Education, as well as an accreditation inspection once the school is operating.  Furthermore, your students will need to be taught the learning outcomes of B.C.’s Integrated Learning Resources (IRP), and government exams in Grades 10, 11, and 12 to graduate with an authorised BC Certificate of Graduation (Dogwood).
